Nour Mattour

Teach For Palestine

Nour Mattour is a PhD candidate in Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Manouba in Tunisia and is currently in the stage of awaiting the defense of her doctoral dissertation. Her research focuses on crisis management and the sustainability of educational systems, with particular interest in the role of technology adoption in enhancing the sustainability and resilience of Palestinian educational institutions in times of crisis. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Jordan.

Since 2009, Nour has been working as a lecturer in the Department of Public Administration at the Faculty of Law and Public Administration at Birzeit University, where she has taught several undergraduate courses in public administration, organizational behavior, public policy, and communication skills. She has also held multiple academic and administrative responsibilities, including serving as Head of the Department of Public Administration and Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Law and Public Administration. Through these roles, she contributed to the development of several academic programs and to enhancing the quality of the educational process within the faculty.

Alongside her academic work, Nour has contributed to initiatives related to governance and capacity building at both the institutional and community levels. She has worked as a trainer in communication skills and career development. In addition, she has published research in peer-reviewed academic journals and edited volumes, with her scholarly publications focusing on the sustainability of educational systems, crisis management, and public sector issues.
