Jennifer Oki is Senior Managing Director of Strategy at Teach For America. She has previously led the organization’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusiveness teams on Teacher Leadership Development and Human Assets, written curriculum for The College Board, taught high school History and Ethnic Studies in New York City. She is currently is the Educational Editor of The Microaggressions Project.
A Third Culture Kid, she was raised in multiple countries, schooled in different educational contexts, and collaborates with a variety of organizations and individuals working to center equity in their work. Ms. Oki earned a Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and a MST degree in Secondary Social Studies at Pace University and resides in Los Angeles, California.
